NOW - not all cards are what they appear to be, a low rate per minute may "look" good but the card has "fee"s that may redcue the acual minutes a card delivers depending on how you use the card. Experienced users can take advantage of lower rates as they know how to use the card to get the advertised rate, less experienced users may end up paying a much higher rate per minute in the end as fee's on the card cut the toatl minutes a card will deliver. Below we have provided you the definations of the possible fees and how best to work the card if it has the type of fees.
Connection Fee: A fee that is charged at the 1st second of every call. If you plan on making a lot of short calls this fee will greatly increase the actual rate per minute. If you typically make long calls, then this fee will have far less impact on the rate per minute.
First Minute Minimum: A minimum fee is charged for the 1st minute of every call, regardless of the actuaL advertised rate per minute. Regardless of how long you talk the fee will be charged, this fee has the greatest impact on short calls. If you typically make long calls, then this fee will have far less impact on the rate per minute.
Maintenance Fee: Typically a daily fee, but could be every other day or weekly. Once you make you 1st call, the maintenance fee is deducted from the card, even if you don't use the card. If you typically use up your cards qucikly, the impact of maintenance fees is greatly redcued.
In Call Fee: Known in the industry as a "bong"
